Cardinal was founded back in 1995 and operates 54 residential homes in Minnesota, serving 250 clients and is comprised of a workforce of over 500 employees. Cardinal operates in the following communities; Rochester, Winona, Austin, Red Wing, Spring Valley, Harmony, Chatfield, Mantorville, and Bemidji.

Description for Direct Care Positions

The Direct Support Professional's (DSp) role is to ensure that the daily needs of each client are met through teaching, counseling, advising, and providing a positive role model in a manner which enables the greatest degree of independence possible in their activities of daily living. At Cardinal of Minnesota, the safety of the clients we serve and our Cardinal work family is our primary concern. We have developed a comprehensive COVID-19 Preparedness and Response Plan that is reviewed weekly following guidance provided by the Dept of Human Services, MN Dept of Health, and Olmsted County Public Health. All of our employees are provided with Personal Protective Equipment and hand sanitizer, and our residential group homes follow rigid disinfecting guidelines.
