Cardinal of Minnesota, Ltd. is looking for a full-time Payroll Manager. Cardinal of Minnesota, specializes in providing residential and support services for individuals with developmental disabilities and related conditions. Cardinal has been recognized as one of the Top 150 Workplaces in Minnesota by the Star Tribune on 2016, 2017 and 2018 We are looking for a dedicated, detail oriented individual to manage our payroll department functions in the Accounting Department. Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Management of payroll process including editing timecards, garnishments, employment verification, processing new hires, third party sick time, etc.
  • Ability to apply payroll principles
  • Maintain current excel worksheets and update graphs
  • Answer employee questions
  • Supervise Payroll Assistants

Qualifications

  • At least two years of experience in processing payroll from beginning to end.
  • Knowledge of Payroll law
  • Detail oriented
  • Mathematical aptitude
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Leadership and teamwork skills
  • Reliability and honesty
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Critical thinking and problem solving skills
